CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

July Sunday Funday

Some of the children at Petrie Memorial had the opportunity to do a service project for their Sunday Funday activity. They made small bouquets of flowers and handmade cards. They visited Hearthstone and some church members’ homes. It was a great experience!

Church Wide Wednesday Night Kickoff

A Church wide Wednesday Night Kickoff will be held on Wednesday, August 16th.

Team Kid Volunteers

We are still in need of several volunteers for our Wednesday night program. We cannot run this program successfully without help from the congregation. 

Time commitment: Team Kid starts on Wednesday, August 23rd and ends in May. We do not have church on spring break, fall break, Christmas break or snow days. Dinner is from 5:00-5:30, which you are welcome to join and eat with students! 

Volunteer Positions Available:

  • Bus Drivers 
  • Wednesday Night Bus Riders

***If we do not have enough volunteers for Wednesday night bus transportation , we will not run the bus. 

  • Team Kid Preschool Helper 
  • Team Kid Missions Leader
  • Team Kid Crew Leader 
  • Team Kid Substitute – As needed

Team Kid Training

Volunteers will complete a Team Kid Training on Sunday, August 13th from 11:30-12:30pm. Lunch will be provided!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • The August communion offering will support Petrie’s Food Bank program. 210 families were served through the Food Bank program in July. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped in any way. 
  • Start saving your loose change for the August Noisy Offering which will support the Methodist Mountain Mission. Change will be collected on August 13.
