  • Start saving your loose change for the September Noisy Offering which will support Petrie’s Community Assistance Fund. Change will be collected on September 3 (please note date change.)
  • The September communion offering will support the KY United Methodist Children’s Homes. Communion will be served on September 10 (please note date change.)
  • September is Petrie’s month to donate to the Interfaith Center.  They are currently requesting canned foods: soups, chili, spaghetti and meatballs, and other microwavable foods. You may drop donations off at Petrie or take directly to the Interfaith Center. 
  • 202 families were served through the Food Bank program in August. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped in any way.  
  • $400 was collected for the Methodist Mountain Mission from the August Noisy Offering. 
  • W.O.E. is S.H.E. Disciple Groups will begin in September. For more information, contact Emily Myers at 270-265-1068.
  • Three Automated External Defibrillator AEDs have been purchased and installed (one near the elevator/Fellowship Hall, one near the sanctuary, and one at POPs.)  Training will be offered in the  coming weeks.  If anyone is interested in learning how to use the AEDs, please notify the church office.  Trainings will be scheduled once we determine how many are interested.
