The United Women in Faith “Countdown to Christmas” campaign for gift cards for the KY United Methodist Children’s Homes will end on December 8. Please contact the church office for more information.
The United Women in Faith are collecting new underwear and socks for Eastern Kentucky flood victims until December 11. Please bring your donations to the Fellowship Hall.
Start saving your loose change for the December Noisy Offering which will support Birthday for Jesus (a Gideon ministry). Change will be collected on December 11.
269 families were served through the Food Bank program in November. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped in any way. If anyone would like to donate food or money to the Food Bank program, it would be much appreciated.**If you did not have an opportunity to complete a 2023 Stewardship Covenant, please contact the church office. It’s not too late to pledge or indicate where you would like to serve.** (Many areas are still in need of volunteers.)
Team Kid
Team Kid is meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings averaging 22 children ages 3 – 5th grade. The children’s lessons have been about our Promised King.
Christmas Play/Nativity
Make sure to join us on December 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary for our Nativity and “12 Symbols of Christmas” performance. Students from K – 6th grade have been working hard at practice each Sunday.

We will soon have our Children’s Church training for those who have signed up for January –June. Please be on the lookout for an announcement.
Acolytes
Thank you to Mrs. Catherine Fox for training our acolytes. It is a joy to have these students participating in the service each week.
Bell Choir
The Bell Choir will perform on December 11th during the 10:00 am service.
Volunteers Needed
We currently need volunteers to drive the church bus on Wednesday nights OR volunteers willing to ride with the driver. We currently have two people who have volunteered to drive and two to ride. We really need another volunteer to drive in case of an emergency.

· Monetary donations are now being taken for the annual Sparrow Project Christmas gifts. The goal is $5,000, and the deadline to donate is November 1.

The Food Bank ministry will be on Tuesday, September 13. The truck will be unloaded at 9:00 a.m. at the Outreach Building, and the food will be distributed beginning at 1:00 p.m. 222 families were served in August.
