The Food Bank Ministry began in 2009 at Petrie Memorial. This program is supplied by “Feeding America” and the USDA organizations.

The program is sponsored by Elkton Baptist Church, Fairview Methodist Church, Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Petrie Memorial Methodist Church, Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, and Providence Church, Inc.

Petrie is blessed every month with many volunteers for this ministry through donations and/or service. New volunteers are welcome to help at 9:00 a.m. to unload the truck/sort & bag the food and at 1:00 p.m. to distribute the food.

The Food Bank Ministry distributes food to 200+ families each month. To apply for this program, a proof of Todd County residence must be presented.

Distribution of food will be at 203 E Main St on the below listed dates beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Distribution will end when all food has been distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
