The United Methodist Women will have their June meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m.   All women are invited to attend.

Petrie UMW will be celebrating the 200th year of Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church by asking everyone to help in these very special monthly donations. We will have a display either in the fellowship hall and/or the sanctuary. There will be reminders of each month’s celebration in the bulletin. We will also have a listing on the bulletin board outside of the church office. Petrie has been very blessed over the 200 years with dedicated members, pastors, and visitors. COME, celebrate the love Petrie has always shared by participating in the monthly donations.

February: 200 personal care items for the women at Grace & Mercy. These items could be deodorant, lotion, bath wash, etc.

March:     200 cans of soup for the Interfaith Center.

 April:      200 “Give Thanks” boxes to be filled with coins, bills, and checks. The money raised will be sent to the KY Children’s Homes.

May:       Mother/Daughter Banquet – a 200th year celebration with photo booth, dressing in any era you like, and good food.

June:     200 toothbrushes and toothpaste (must be individually wrapped) for the Micah Mission.

July:     200 canned vegetables  for commodities.

August:  200 “Back to School” items for schools.
