“Meet the Knipps!”

Willard – A native of Elliott County, Willard graduated from Elliott County High School, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Asbury College (now Asbury University) and a Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary. Before entering vocational ministry, he served as the County Extension Agent for 4-H and Youth Development in Floyd County. Willard is a huge sports fan, enjoys classic pop and rock from the 80s, and putting his grill and outdoor pizza oven to good use!
Gregory – The oldest of the Knipp children, Gregory was born in Maysville, graduated from Henderson County High School and Murray State University. A graphic artist and screen printer, he worked as a graphic designer for the Kentucky Annual Conference before relocating to Pikeville. Today he works for Childers Oil in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Gregory is a fan of classic movies, boxing, and baseball.
Jordan – Born in Maysville, Jordan is a graduate of Collins High School in Shelbyville, Lindsey Wilson College and this fall will begin her final year at Asbury Theological Seminary. She is a Certified Candidate for Ministry in the United Methodist Church on the Elder’s Track. Jordan is married to Matthew Hunter who is a native of Clinton County and a teacher in the Shelby County School System. Jordan is an avid reader and history nerd,while Matthew is a gamer. The two of them will celebrate their first anniversary on June 17.
Lydia – The youngest of the Knipps, Lydia was born in Louisville and has graduated from Pikeville High School. She lives in Pikeville and attends Big Sandy Community and Technical School where she will study auto mechanics. She enjoys walking, horror movies and is a good cook in her own right.
Uniting for worship, education, fellowship, going out in missions across the street and around the world making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
