Mission/Dance Camp
Petrie Memorial UMC, along with help from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Allensville, and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Guthrie sponsor a FREE Sports/Dance Camp each July.
The main focus of the camp is to learn fundamentals with Christian life applications in the areas of basketball and dance. The camp has been held in both Guthrie and Elkton under the direction of Coach Fred Harper and assisted by many of his former players.
“We combine our love for Jesus, love for teaching children, and our love for basketball and dance. That combination makes a great week.” Coach Calvin Head.
Uniting for worship, education, fellowship, going out in missions across the street and around the world making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
